VFRT Train-the-Trainer Program

Introduction

By enrolling in the Train‐the‐Trainer (“TTT”) Program and paying the associated fee, you (“Trainer” or “you”) agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement by Astrion Academy (“Academy”). Successful completion of the TTT Program grants you the status of an Astrion Trainer, permitting you to conduct the VFRT Live Class (2‐Day Intensive) under the guidelines outlined below.

1. Purpose and Scope

This Agreement defines how you, the Trainer, enroll in and complete the TTT Program and sets forth your authorization to teach the VFRT Live Class as provided by Astrion Academy. It also establishes the revenue‐sharing arrangement for enrolling Students, ensuring that you receive a portion of the tuition for each Student who attends your VFRT Live Class through the official Astrion Academy registration platform. Upon fulfilling all requirements of the TTT Program, you will be designated as an Astrion Trainer, permitted to offer the 2‐Day Intensive component of the VFRT Certification Program, provided you remain in compliance with the terms detailed herein.

2. Definitions

For purposes of this Agreement, “Academy” refers to Astrion Academy, including its owners, agents, officers, and designated representatives. The “VFRT Certification Program” is the comprehensive online and in‐person training curriculum for Vibrational Fascia Release Technique™. The “VFRT Live Class” or “2‐Day Intensive” denotes the hands‐on instruction that you, as the Trainer, are authorized to deliver once you complete the TTT Program. The “TTT Program” consists of self‐paced online training, live coaching sessions, a dedicated community for Trainers, and required assessments. “Trainer Materials” include any proprietary course manuals, videos, slide decks, handouts, and related content provided by Astrion Academy. A “Student” is anyone who enrolls through Astrion Academy to attend the VFRT Live Class under your instruction.

3. Enrollment and Fees

Enrollment in the TTT Program requires a $200 (USD) non‐refundable application fee, payable when you submit your application. This fee covers administrative expenses and serves as a measure of good faith, ensuring applicants have a vested interest. To qualify for admission, you must already be a VFRT Program Alumnus, meaning you have completed the VFRT Certification Program or an earlier version of VFRT training. While Astrion Academy welcomes applicants who meet the criteria, it reserves the right to accept or decline any application at its sole discretion. There is no guarantee of acceptance. Once accepted, the application fee remains non‐refundable.

4. Program Requirements

The TTT Program is primarily delivered online, allowing you to learn at your own pace. You will be expected to complete all assigned modules, quizzes, and knowledge assessments, demonstrating a thorough understanding of VFRT principles and teaching techniques. In addition to independent study, you must attend live coaching sessions or scheduled webinars, where you will receive feedback and practical guidance on presenting and instructing. You are responsible for having a webcam and reliable internet access to fulfill these interactive components. At the conclusion of your studies, you may be required to teach a mock lesson or submit a recorded demonstration of your teaching. Successful completion of these steps grants you official Astrion Trainer status, authorizing you to lead the VFRT Live Class according to the policies established by Astrion Academy.

5. Trainer Responsibilities

Once recognized as an Astrion Trainer, you agree to conduct VFRT Live Classes in a professional, safe, and ethical manner consistent with the standards set by Astrion Academy. You are responsible for all marketing and scheduling tasks, including choosing class dates, securing venues, and providing local logistics information regarding lodging or transportation. You must respond promptly to Student inquiries, both before and after the live class, ensuring clear communication about schedules, required materials, and follow‐up procedures.

You are also accountable for printing and distributing Student manuals or any additional handouts, covering these costs yourself. If you wish to offer supplemental documents, you must obtain approval from Astrion Academy to maintain consistency and branding standards. After each class, you confirm Student attendance and communicate any unusual concerns to the Academy. Students will then complete knowledge assessments and an instructor evaluation online. Their final certification is granted electronically via the Astrion Academy website once they fulfill the complete VFRT Certification Program requirements. Furthermore, for quality assurance, Astrion Academy reserves the right to attend your classes in person or through remote video, and you may be asked to submit recorded sessions for review.

6. Tuition, Registration, and Payout

Tuition for the VFRT Live Class is currently set at $1,500 USD per Student. You receive 60% ($900) as a royalty for each Student, while the remaining 40% ($600) is retained by Astrion Academy. Registrations must be processed through the Academy’s official website, allowing you access to a Trainer Dashboard to track your class rosters. Astrion Academy handles all tuition collection, and typically issues your portion of the fees through PayPal (or another approved payment method) within fourteen (14) business days of receiving a Student’s payment. Because Students gain access to the full online VFRT Certification Program upon registration, their tuition is non‐refundable. If a Student cannot attend the scheduled class, they may complete the online curriculum and arrange a 2‐day mentoring session or attend a future live class with you at no additional charge.

7. Code of Conduct and Professional Standards

As an Astrion Trainer, you must safeguard the integrity of the VFRT Certification Program and the Astrion Academy brand. You agree to present information honestly, refrain from misrepresenting credentials or course content, and avoid any fraudulent or unethical behavior. You are responsible for complying with all local laws and regulations that apply to holding in‐person trainings. You must maintain an environment free from harassment or discrimination, offering a respectful space for all Students.

You are prohibited from using proprietary Astrion Academy materials to develop or promote a competing training program without express written consent. All proprietary and confidential information shared with you remains the exclusive property of Astrion Academy and must not be disclosed to unauthorized parties or used for any purpose outside this Agreement.

8. Ownership of Intellectual Property

All rights, titles, and interests in the VFRT Certification Program, TTT Program content, and associated intellectual property remain solely with Astrion Academy. Becoming an Astrion Trainer does not grant you any ownership rights to this material. You are permitted to use the copyrighted materials exclusively for the purpose of delivering Astrion Academy‐approved VFRT Live Classes. Unauthorized duplication, alteration, or distribution of materials without written approval is strictly prohibited.

9. Program Updates and Revisions

Astrion Academy reserves the right to update or enhance the VFRT curriculum as research evolves or new techniques emerge. You agree to adopt such changes in a timely manner, ensuring that Students receive the most accurate and current information. Periodically, you may be asked to complete refresher training or additional assessments to maintain active Trainer status. A failure to comply with updated requirements could result in suspension or termination of your Trainer privileges.

10. Termination

Astrion Academy may terminate this Agreement immediately if you violate any material provision, engage in fraudulent or unethical conduct, or otherwise harm the Academy’s reputation. You may terminate by giving thirty (30) days’ written notice, after which you must cease all VFRT class offerings and discontinue use of Astrion Academy materials. Upon termination, you forfeit any claim to future registrations or payouts beyond what you have already earned and are owed. All licenses and permissions granted under this Agreement end immediately upon its termination.

11. Limitation of Liability and Indemnification

Astrion Academy’s liability to you is limited to the fees or royalties actually paid or owed to you under this Agreement. In no event will the Academy be liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your classes or activities. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Astrion Academy against any claims, damages, or losses resulting from your failure to comply with local regulations, any unauthorized statements you make, or any negligence on your part that causes harm or damage during a VFRT Live Class.

12. General Provisions

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the state in which Astrion Academy is domiciled, without regard to conflict‐of‐law rules. It constitutes the full understanding between you and the Academy, superseding any prior discussions or agreements. Any amendments must be documented in writing and signed by both parties. If any section is found invalid or unenforceable, all other sections remain effective. Notices must be sent by email or certified mail to each party’s last known address. Nothing herein creates a partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship; you act as an independent contractor. You may not assign or transfer rights or obligations under this Agreement without written approval from Astrion Academy.

13. Acceptance of Agreement

By submitting your application and fee, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Agreement and agree to be bound by all its terms. If you do not accept these terms, do not proceed with the application or payment.

The VFRT Live 2-Day Intensive Class is designed to provide hands-on experience in the practical application of Vibrational Fascia Release Technique™ (VFRT) directly alongside the founder of the method. While online videos can effectively convey concepts, mastering practical skills such as palpation, tuning fork placement, and pressure techniques is best learned through in-person guidance and feedback.

Hands-On Experience:

During the class, students will work on each other through demonstrations and practical applications.
Depending on class size, there may be opportunities to both give and receive treatments using various VFRT protocols.
To ensure personalized instruction and maximize hands-on experience, we intentionally limit the class size.
The class structure allows for plenty of time to ask questions and engage in discussions that may occasionally stray off topic, promoting a deeper understanding of the method.

Certification Process:

This class alone does not provide VFRT Program Certification. It is one essential step in the certification process.
Students can choose to begin their VFRT journey with the 2-day live class and then complete the online coursework, which includes instructional videos and knowledge assessments.
This live Intensive class will fulfill the case study requirements for the online certification program.
Upon registration, all students will gain access to the complete online curriculum, which is included in the tuition for the live class. The online portion must be successfully completed before final certification is awarded.

For Students Already Enrolled in the Online Certification Program:

If you've already begun the VFRT Online Certification Program, the 2-day live class is included as part of your tuition, offering an opportunity to refine your hands-on skills and receive personalized feedback.

Class Preparation:

The primary goal of the 2-day class is to help you gain confidence and proficiency in core VFRT skills such as palpation, tuning fork placement, and pressure application.
We recommend that all students complete the beginning modules of the online curriculum before attending the live class. This foundational knowledge allows us to dive directly into practical applications with minimal time spent on classroom instruction.
Please note that not all VFRT protocols or clinical situations can be covered within the two-day timeframe. However, the hands-on experience and personalized feedback will give you the tools and confidence needed to continue practicing and advancing your skills after the class.

This Intensive is a unique opportunity to accelerate your learning, deepen your understanding of VFRT, and gain hands-on experience with expert guidance in a supportive, small-group environment.

Travel and Lodging:

Shipshewana, Indiana, is a charming tourist town nestled in the heart of Amish country, known for its scenic countryside, vibrant flea market, and rich cultural experiences. Whether you're traveling from nearby or out of state, you'll find several lodging and travel options to suit your needs.

Airports:

The closest airports are Fort Wayne International Airport (FWA) and South Bend International Airport (SBN), both approximately an hour's drive from Shipshewana.
Some students prefer to fly into Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW), which is about a two-and-a-half-hour drive, offering a scenic route through the Midwest.

Lodging:

For convenient lodging, consider staying at one of the largest hotel and conference centers in town:
- The Blue Gate Garden Inn – Known for its cozy atmosphere and proximity to local attractions.
- Farmstead Inn & Conference Center – Located across from the Shipshewana Flea Market, perfect for exploring the area.
- Van Buren Hotel at Shipshewana – A comfortable stay with modern amenities and easy access to local sites.
For budget-friendly options, smaller hotels and motels are available within a short drive.

Local Transportation:

Shipshewana does not have public transportation, taxis, or rideshare services like Uber or Lyft. We recommend renting a car for the most flexibility during your stay.
Airbnb options are limited, so booking accommodations early is recommended, especially during the busy flea market season.

Nearby Towns:

If local hotels are fully booked, consider accommodations in Sturgis, Michigan (20 minutes away) or Goshen, Indiana (30 minutes away). Both towns offer additional lodging and dining options.

Explore Shipshewana:

While you're here, take advantage of the town’s attractions, including the world-famous Shipshewana Flea Market, the Blue Gate Performing Arts Center hosting well-known artists, and various shops showcasing Amish craftsmanship and cuisine.

Meals:

We strive to make your experience at the VFRT Live 2-Day Intensive Class as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. To help you stay energized and focused, we provide lunch on both days of the class, along with snacks and beverages throughout the day. Complimentary drinks include water, coffee, and tea at a minimum.

Breakfast:

Most local hotels offer a continental breakfast, with The Blue Gate Garden Inn known for its exceptional breakfast service. If breakfast is important to you, we recommend checking with your hotel regarding their offerings.

Lunch:

We provide lunch each day so that we can enjoy a meal together, saving time and fostering a sense of community among participants. Although we may ask about dietary restrictions, please note that we may not be able to accommodate every specific need. We encourage you to bring any special dietary items if needed.

Additional Food Options:

For those who need an extra caffeine boost, several coffee shops are located nearby, including one just two doors down from our facility.
Since Shipshewana is an Amish-centered town, most businesses, including restaurants, are closed on Sundays. If you are staying beyond the event, please plan your meals accordingly.

Kitchen Amenities:

Our facility has a small kitchen equipped with a refrigerator and microwave for your use. Feel free to bring and store any personal snacks or meals as needed.

Equipment Provided and Recommended Tools:

We aim to provide you with all the essential tools and materials needed for the VFRT Live 2-Day Intensive Class. Each student will receive a student manual, a pen, and a notebook for note-taking during the sessions.

Tuning Forks Used in Class:

The primary tool used in class is a weighted 128 Hz tuning fork with a standard 2-inch stem.
We will also use 25mm and 15mm gem foot attachments for sinus drainage techniques. Most practitioners prefer to have three tuning forks to quickly switch between attachments during treatments, but this is not required for class.
For the majority of the class, we will be using a “barefoot” tuning fork without any attachments. Additionally, we will demonstrate how gua sha tools can be used as an alternative to gem foot attachments.

Purchasing Tuning Forks:

Although we have sold tuning forks in the past, we are currently out of stock.
Most of our tuning forks and gem foot attachments are sourced from Biosonics.com, and the 128 Hz weighted tuning fork is also available on Amazon.com.
Quality matters: Not all tuning forks are made to the same standard. We recommend tuning forks manufactured in the United States by Riverbank Labs, which are supplied by both Biosonics and Astrion Academy.

Massage Gun:

During class demonstrations, we will use a massage gun—specifically the Hypervolt by Hyperice. We recommend this brand for its brushless motor technology and long battery life, which are essential for effective and consistent treatments. As with tuning forks, not all massage guns are of equal quality.

What You Need to Get Started:

At a minimum, you will only need one 128 Hz weighted tuning fork to begin practicing VFRT. Additional forks and attachments can be added as you advance your skills and techniques.

Class Cancellation and Refund Policy

By completing your registration and tuition payment, you are entering into a training agreement with Astrion Academy, wherein we commit to providing the VFRT Certification Program in exchange for your tuition payment. Upon registration, you will receive full access to the entire VFRT Certification Program online curriculum, which must be completed to receive certification. While the 2-day live class is included in your tuition, it is not required to achieve certification.

Student Cancellations:

If you are unable to attend the live class for which you registered, tuition will not be refunded.
However, you may choose to attend any additional scheduled live class or arrange a personal 2-day tutoring session with the course trainers at no additional cost.

Class Cancellations by Astrion Academy:

In the unlikely event that Astrion Academy cancels a class, you may select an alternative class date or schedule a personal tutoring session with the course trainers.
Tuition will not be refunded in the event of a cancellation by Astrion Academy.
